Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton, born Jan. 19, 1946, in Locust Ridge Tenn. to an unlucky family of twelve children that would be raised with them eventually. She learned quickly how to navigate her way out of the difficulties she faced thanks to her incredibly vivid imagination. Even before learning to compose and read the music she wrote herself, she created herself with her own songs. In the year she turned 8 when she bought the first electric guitar. Then she started singing at an Knoxville Tenn Radio Station. At the time, she also recorded her first record on Gold Band Records a tiny independent label. When she was still in highschool she became famous locally but dreamed about a larger stage. After graduating high school in 1964, she immediately relocated to Nashville. Dumb Blonde was her first single to reach the top of the charts on Monument Records. In the year 1967, Porter Wagoner was looking for a new girl singer for his TV show syndicated by the network. Parton began her career in 1966. She then joined RCA Records in 1968, and then the Grand Ole Opry was founded in the year 1969. She left Wagoner's show, but in 1974, because her solo albums, like Joshua Coat Of Many Colors and Jolene over-sold the collaborations. After their split, Parton wrote the song I Will Always Love You for Wagoner and the song reached number. In 1974, Parton's song I Will Always Love You reached No.
