Salma Hayek

Salma Hayek, a Mexican American actress born of Spanish as well as Lebanese parents and is Mexican. She was born into an affluent Roman Catholic family from Mexico. She was influenced by the age of a girl to pursue a career as an actress after watching the movie 'Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory'. She also served as the executive producer of 'Ugly Betty.' The 1959 Primetime Emmy Awards nominated her for "Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series" in the character of Sofia Reyes. The actress also endorses brands such as 'Avon ' Revlon as well as her own cosmetics line, products for hair care and skincare under the brand name Nuance.
