Her part as Willie Scott (an American nightclub singer and performer) in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), which was produced by her later husband Steven Spielberg, is her most well-known. In the film, she is Dreamscape (1984), Power (86), SpaceCamp (1986) Black Rain(89), Love Affair, Love Affair (1994), Just Cause (1895), and The Love Letter (1999) and continues to become a household name. The portraiture work of Capshaw was displayed at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery Capshaw was the daughter of Beverley Sue (nee Simon), who is a beauty consultant and travel agent as well as Edwin Leon Nail (an airline employee of the airline). The couple moved to St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of five and was a graduate of Hazelwood Senior High School in 1972. Capshaw was a graduate of the University of Missouri with a degree as an educator. She was also a part of Alpha Delta Pi. She was a teacher of special education at Southern Boone High School, Ashland, Missouri, as and Rock Bridge High School, Columbia, Missouri.
